HEY! LISTEN: Staci Gruber's New Torch Song Begs: "Be Kind With My Heart"
Staci Gruber takes us on a sublime classic country trip with her torch song "Be Kind to My Heart"

Country artists come from all walks of life, but it's not often you find one who moonlights as a professor of neuroscience at Harvard Medical School. It's safe to say that Staci Gruber has a lot of drive; and her commitment to excellence shows in her new song "Be Kind With My Heart.
The song opens with a weeping steel guitar line that will grab your heart until the baritone guitar gently takes you by the hand. It would be all over there, but Gruber's powerful voice brings a touch of the holy to this earthly tale of lost love.
"Each one of us experiences so much throughout our lives- joy, sorrow, love, loss. They help to define us and allow us to evolve," Gruber explains. "We’ve all been heartbroken and felt betrayed, wondering if we’ll make it through. 'Be Kind With My Heart' echoes the sentiment that no matter what role we play in lost love, kindness is key."
Gruber has found success performing with Dan Aykroyd and the Blues Brothers, writing an anthem for Billie Jean King, and performing at several large events with collaborator Michael Orland. She shares, “Maybe music really can help people feel things they need to feel… I always hope that music allows people to understand someone else’s perspective – empathy in its truest sense.”
