Songs That Made Me Gay: JB Somers

Nashville's JB Somers has the voice of an angel. Growing up in the church, Somers' music reflects his struggles with his community and faith – and what it means to come out the other side stronger and more fully yourself.

On this episode, we learn more about the songs that made him gay and inspired him to share his voice. Learn about the song that finally got him out of the closet, words to the wise for closeted gay folks (from Dolly, of course), and a song that makes Somers weep just to think about.
