With her upcoming album The Sun Is a Girl (out on her birthday, October 10), Autumn Sky Hall prepares to unleash a blast of sunny vintage folk rock into our, well, autumns. "Big Time Lover," which you can listen to exclusively on Rainbow Rodeo, is a crowd favorite and it's easy to see why. The song's cheerful bounce and slick bass hooks are the perfect cushion for Hall's acerbic delivery.
"If we didn't release this song, our friends would revolt and knock down our doors. It's a long beloved song that's really grown on stage over the years," she explained. "It's just the right thing to sing to when you want to remind yourself that the only one deciding your worth is you. You deserve to love who you are, and to stand by what you stand for proudly."
