- Willi Carlisle covers the legendary singer-songwriter Richard Thompson's "Beeswing." It's a song of youthful romance and the toll living in this world takes – but Carlisle's sensitive approach makes it into an anthem rather than a tragedy
- "Pretty Eyes Lorraine" takes us back to the '70s with Florry's able hands. The song's got an unstoppable groove that gives way to the abandon one feels in the early stage of romance.
- Brye challenges us once again with the intimacy of her voice and tender guitar. "Body Back (Acoustic)" is at once warm and piercing, a defiant anthem of reclaiming oneself after sexual assault.
- "Canopy" is a gorgeous plea for peace and understanding from Rachael Sage. The sateen layers of strings and acoustic guitars give Sage's common sense a luxe feeling.
- The Bootstrap Boys takes on Norman Greenbaum's famous Jewish ode to Jesus, "Spirit in the Sky." The cover is pretty faithful, but there's no need to mess with a classic – though the Boys give it that special twang it always needed.
