  • Boy Golden casually drops an astonishing love song with "Like a Child." The soft-spoken ballad is a cover for a steel resolve to protect what is good – right now – while acknowledging past pain.
  • Anjimile is readying a new album (out March 13th) – and the newest track "Like You Really Mean It" features his knack for blending genres into a cohesive whole. "Like You Really Mean It" pulses with desire and affection.
  • Here's an album I've been eagerly anticipating for a while: Grace Givertz is back with another March 13th album, and "Midnight Feature" perfectly encapsulates her knack for beautiful imagery matched only by her performance. Here, Givertz compares a failed relationship to a story nobody cares about anymore.
  • "Buzzkill" finds Jobi Riccio further exploring her rock'n'roll tendencies. The title track on a new three-song EP, the song teasingly admits to being jaded in your 20s.
  • While Rae Spoon has been having a great time with their new alt-country trio Big Riverz, Spoon is readying a new album centered on being trans and country at heart. "Can't Fail Me" sports a rollicking country groove while centering the sobering notion of what it means to be in relationship with people who may or may not have much time left.
