  • Fimone invites spirits of the ancestors into the acoustic version of her song "Walls (For Norma)". Unfortunately, our review of her stunning EP Fascination didn't make the transfer to the new website, but it is a haunting exploration of how queer ancestors touch us from the past. In this case, Fimone celebrates Norma Wallace, the last madam in New Orleans. Fimone recorded the album in Wallace's house, the ghosts of sex workers pasts weaving their way into the recordings. This version of the song came out on what would have been Wallace's 124th birthday.
  • "Sanguine Song" unfurls with a sultry groove. Stray Songdog, a queer coyote person, depicts life amidst uncertainty with an unshakeable faith in our strength.
  • Shane Stevens reminds us that country pop has plenty to say on "Don't Hijack My Jesus." Whether you're a follower or not, Stevens' sincere performance hits home. It's tiring to fight for our existence, but Stevens reminds us we have history on our side.
  • I learned of OK Naledi thanks to Creekbed Carter Hogan's jewel of a newsletter. "Dream" speaks to just that – what would the world look like when our dreams come true? And what is the price of that dream?
  • allie explores the boundaries of creativity on the rushing indie pop of "Tiny Colored Pills."
